Halloween squares: time to bring the little pieces together
Colour, texture & a little imagination

The satisfying assembly stage

Raffamusa Designs is revisiting its Halloween granny-square collection with additions for 2026. The published schedule puts joining on 24 October and the border on 27 October. This is not an entirely new collection: it mixes earlier designs with this year's additions.

Why the finishing stage deserves a cheer

Individual squares are fun, but laying them out is where a collection starts looking like one project. Try photographing two or three arrangements before joining. It is much easier to move a square in a photo experiment than to unpick a whole seam later.

Find the real patterns

Follow the designer's page for the motifs, release links and construction details. The autumn illustration here is decorative artwork, not a picture of those squares. Our joining guide is a separate practice lesson, not a replacement for the project's own instructions.
